This blueberry lemonade is made with fresh-squeezed lemons, smashed blueberries, honey syrup and a little maple to sweeten. Light, refreshing and delicious.
Spring is in the air! I love spring. Everything smells great, the weather is perfect every day AND I can still get away with sweaters and warmer clothes at night. Win Win Win. You know what else I love about spring? The perfect weather to host outdoor parties.
I’m always trying to impress my guests with pretty and delicious drinks. Naked Juice green machine may taste good but it looks like Oscar the Grouch blended up. I look for more visually appealing things. Like blueberry lemonade. It’s gorgeous and so so refreshing.
A few years ago, I discovered Barrett’s brand blueberry lemonade at an outdoor music festival Long Beach and I fell in LOVE. The blueberries are the perfect mellow fruit to cut the super tart lemon in lemonade. So I decided to make my own lighter take on their lemonade (with no refined sugar).
This adorable pitcher was purchased forever ago from Target, but here is a cute, similar option!
A few simple ingredients bring this lemonade to a whole new level: Lemons, Blueberries, Honey, Maple Syrup and Water. And did you notice that the color is SCHMAMAZING? Because it is. It’s friggin fuchsia.
I bust this bad boy out at my spring and summer parties because nobody can resist pink drink. Am I right?
