These s’mores are easy to make in the oven and are easily made completely vegan. They’re flavorful, chocolatey, so delicious, and done in under 10 minutes!
Chocoholics unite! S’mores are so nostalgic and so delicious, how can you not love them? I think the vast majority of us would choose to survive of just chocolate if we could.
Why you’re going to adore these:
- They’re so easy! These are done in no more than 10 minutes flat.
- These are adult and kid friendly! I mean what kid doesn’t like s’mores?
- No fire or open flame required! Just pop in the oven and follow the directions and you are good. to. go.
- These can be easily made vegan or non-vegan! Just choose your ingredients correctly (read your labels) and you’re set. Plus dark chocolate has a lot of health benefits too. It’s basically like eating kale.

Ingredient Notes:
- If you’re vegan or making a vegan version, check your labels! Make sure your dark chocolate doesn’t contain any milk and get the *right* marshmallows (Dandies brand is vegan and my personal favorite). And make sure you’re graham crackers are vegan! A lot tend to have honey.
- You can very easily substitute out fresh crushed raspberries for either another berry or for jam or preserves.
- For ease of assembly, try to get chocolate bars that can be broken into squares, or purchase chocolate squares like Ghiradelli brand.
Other delicious variations:
- White Chocolate Raspberry: substitute the dark chocolate for white chocolate.
- Elvis: in between the chocolate and marshmallows, add thinly sliced bananas and crispy (already cooked) bacon.
- Nutella Banana: add a layer of thinly sliced banana between the chocolate and marshmallow and substitute the crushed raspberries for nutella.
- Classic S’mores: change out the dark chocolate for milk chocolate and skip the raspberries.
- Strawberry Chocolate: substitute out the crushed raspberries for thinly sliced strawberries.
- Dark Chocolate Orange: substitute out the crushed raspberries for orange marmalade.
How to make these, step-by-step:
- With a fork, take the raspberries and crush until the raspberries are broken down into a jam-like texture
- Break the graham crackers into halves, and the chocolate into squares. Line a sheet pan with foil and layer on half of the graham cracker halves in a single layer.
- Top each graham cracker with a marshmallow.
- Place in oven on the middle rack and set the oven to broil.
- Broil about 2 minutes (keep your eye on these so they don’t burn) and take out when the marshmallows reach a nice light golden brown on top.
- Remove graham cracker and marshmallows from the oven and immediately top with a chocolate square (you’re doing this so the chocolate softens a bit from the hot marshmallow).
- Spread a layer of raspberry on each remaining graham cracker half and then top each s’more with the raspberry side sandwiched in.
Questions? Answers await!
- How do you melt marshmallows in the oven? You’re going to broil these so they toast right from the top to get that golden outer layer and gooey inner marshmallow layer!
- Can you toast these over a gas stove? Absolutely! Heat the marshmallows over the flame but be careful not to burn yourself or get too close.
- Can you substitute marshmallow fluff? Yes definitely, but be sure to monitor the fluff in the oven, that will probably burn quicker than a regular marshmallow.
- How does the chocolate melt if it’s not in the oven? The toasted marshmallows will melt the chocolate! Just make sure to immediately add the chocolate on top of the marshmallows right after you take out of the oven!
