The Aperol Spritz cocktail has clearly been the drink of the summer. I’ve seen it everywhere, you’ve seen it everywhere. They event have an @aperolspritzofficial instagram it’s so crazy popular!
Naturally I had to test one out and it’s AMAZING, better than I had expected. By a long shot. It’s unfortunate that it took me until September to try it but hey, better late than never! I’m usually fashionably late anyway.
It’s easily my new favorite cocktail, this delicious Aperol Spritz. I tried a few variations and I realized that I wanted to put my own personal touch on it so I added a bit of tangerine and pomegranate to spruce it up!
An Aperol Spritz is basically Prosecco, Aperol and Soda water. Super easy and suuuuuper good. My take is basically that plus I used Tangerine La Croix instead of soda water and added a little Pomegranate Juice for a tasty twist.
P.s. if you’re looking for these awesome glasses, i’ve linked them here! I have SO many people asking where I got these!
This pairs perfectly with my Summer Heirloom Pesto Pizza or with your favorite light and fruity dessert!
Even though we’re coming up on colder weather y’all should try this drink. It’s really good. REALLY good.
Throw in some orange or pomegranate seeds for color and enjoy! Cheers.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Aperol
- 2 oz Prosecco
- 1 oz Tangerine La Croix or Soda water
- 1/2 oz Pomegranate Juice

- Garnish with an orange, stir and Enjoy!
Yum! This sounds like the perfect refreshing drink for spring and summer. So excited we’re going into springtime here in Australia so I will definitely give this a go. It would also be the perfect drink for the races.
I actually never heard of this before! It looks so refreshing – I’ll have to check out the liquor store to find the ingredients and give this a try!

What a fabulous summertime, or anytime, drink! I’m always on the lookout for something new to try on certain occasions when hosting a party, so this will be next on the list! Thank you for a great idea and the recipe.
Ive never heard of those ingredients they’re made of. But by the looks of it, that drink is indeed refreshing.
I don’t usually consume drinks like this and I would probably just taste a little. But I would certainly like the matching pesto pizza or fruity dessert.
Pomegranates are my absolute favorite! There are days where I will pick one apart and eat one of the span of hours. This looks delicious.
Adding the LaCroix is a nice twist! I love LaCroix. Looks really refreshing.
Being a teetotaler, don’t know how this would taste, but looks extremely pretty with the colors. May be i can try non-alcoholic version
Oooh..this one sounds and looks straight up my flavor profile. Thanks for the idea.
