Carmen's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Carmen's chocolate chip cookies are crazy easy to make, and come out completely flat - so they're earned the name "pancakes"

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 sticks butter softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 1 dash nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 bag milk chocolate chips (11.5 oz)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375*
  • Mix all dry ingredients together in bowl (except chocolate chips)
  • Mix all wet ingredients together in bowl
  • Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients slowly and stir to combine. Once combined add chocolate chips and mix until just incorporated
  • Scoop and form into 1 inch dough balls and set on 2 parchment lined baking sheets
  • Place in oven and cook for 10-12 minutes rotating racks once in-between
