Frozen Sangria Slush

This frozen sangria slush recipe is perfect for sipping during hot summer weather! No marinating time, this is done in under 5 minutes. Blend and top with your favorite fruit.

  • Blender


  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/8 cup orange liqueur
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • heavy pinch of cinnamon


  • Add all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until ice is fully crushed. Taste to make sure flavor profile is to your liking, add more agave or lemon as needed.
  • Pour into your favorite with glass and top with favorite fresh fruit!


  • I suggest using Grand Marnier orange liqueur. I think it pairs best with red wine, however any orange liqueur will work!
  • If you don't have frozen strawberries specifically on hand, you can use a frozen berry mix! Or you can use fresh strawberries, but add a little more ice.
  • I like to use Spanish red wine here (because I fell in love with sangria in Spain) like a Grenache or Tempranillo, but you can use most other red wines like Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. No need to use an expensive bottle.
